A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Hirex Water Damage sends licensed technicians straight to your Mendon address with extraction equipment already loaded and running.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Mendon, IL kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Mendon roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Mendon isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Mendon, IL, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Mendon, IL so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Talk to a Mendon property manager who's lived through an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you exactly why a crew that arrives already equipped matters — every extra minute is more water in the framing. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Mendon call at a time.
The most expensive Mendon restoration jobs we run almost never started as a dramatic flood; they started as something small that got put off. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Mendon line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
From a single soaked bedroom to a commercial building with three flooded floors, our Mendon teams are equipped to scale up or down — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Our Mendon units run truck-mount extraction pumps that pull thousands of gallons per hour, cutting standing-water time from days to hours. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For Mendon homeowners, that means drywall removal at the flood cut line, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything that can be saved, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
For commercial Mendon accounts, we assign a project lead, run crews after normal hours to reduce downtime, and bring equipment sized to the actual footprint — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
When a Mendon job involves sewage backup, our team suits up in full PPE, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and safely disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Mendon drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
You get a written estimate before any equipment runs, not a mystery total handed to you after the fact.
Because our equipment cache sits inside Mendon, IL, most Mendon calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
We photograph and log every step specifically so your claim moves faster and you're not the one arguing with the insurance company.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Mendon job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
Our Mendon team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
The closest available technician is routed to your Mendon property with equipment staged and ready.
We remove standing water first, then map moisture and position air movers and dehumidifiers based on the readings.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
Our Mendon technicians use moisture meters at the start and the end of every job, and the final number has to hit the dry standard before we leave. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That's not a marketing line — it's written into every Mendon work order we issue. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.
